Mission
What you will drive
Under the direction of the R&D Technical Project Lead (I&C), the R&D Electrochemical Test Specialist is primarily responsible for:
- Assembly of test setups, execution of tests, and data analyses related to development of electrochemical instrumentation for molten salts
- Coordination with R&D Technical Project Lead to execute test programs and provide subject matter expertise on analytical chemistry equipment, electroanalytical methods, and salt chemistry
- Review of internal documents and calculations related to test setup design, test scope, procedures, specifications, and reports
- Authorship of calculations and reports summarizing test results and presentation of findings with assumptions, risks, and proposed paths forward

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications and skills:
- Master's degree (or higher) in Engineering, Electrochemistry, Chemistry, or Materials Science
- Minimum 2 years of R&D work experience in academia or industry involving electrochemistry and analytical instrumentation
- Expertise with analytical chemistry and electrochemistry instrumentation principles of operation, calibration, data analysis methods, and error prediction
- Skilled with lab equipment, sensors, data acquisition systems, and custom test equipment design, assembly, and commissioning
