Public Relations Associate

• Take a leading role in the coordination of global partner launches and milestone celebrations - including announcements and events.
• Draft press releases, pitches, and messaging to support partner launch and celebration efforts, all while accurately conveying the Via brand.
• Maintain regular communication with Via commercial teams to support priority markets.
• Liaise closely with Rider Growth, Policy, Operations, and Partner Success teams to uncover opportunities for PR to partner on marketing efforts.

You will play a meaningful role in telling the stories that show the positive impact of transit on local communities, helping bring the voice for Via's 500+ partners and millions of riders around the globe to life in the press.

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in public relations or communications, either at an agency or in-house.
• Understanding of the media landscape and personal experience developing pitches and securing press coverage.
• Creative thinker who can develop out-of-the box solutions and storylines, with excellent writing skills.
• Independent, organized, and self-starter who is comfortable taking on a high level of responsibility.

• Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year (final salary determined by experience, knowledge, and skills, not including equity or variable pay).
