Project Manager, Preconstruction

Core responsibilities:

• Works closely with Development to review and address upfront construction and execution-related issues earlier in the project lifecycle, including constructability assessments, site visits, permitting, and collaboration with JHA's
• Leads development of detailed baseline Project schedules which incorporate appropriate durations for each team to complete their work including contingencies
• Manages the EPC RFP process including scoping, identification, evaluation, selection, and final approval
• Coordinates with Cost Estimating & Controls to develop and maintain project budgeting and cash spend forecasts

This role contributes to powering a sustainable future by developing, financing, owning and operating utility-scale and distributed solar and storage projects across the country, helping transition to renewable energy sources.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent years of experience in construction, project planning and execution of large utility-scale, power plant projects
• 3-5 years in the renewable energy sector or industrial construction or capital project management
• Advanced knowledge of construction management and constructing methods for large projects, contract management, procurement, and supply chain management, environmental and building permitting, and transportation logistics
• Extensive experience with EPC and BOP construction contracting; including RFP process, bid review, and negotiation of contract terms; renewable energy contracting experience is highly preferred
