Project Manager

• Coordinate the relationship with the client, ensuring alignment on requirements and deliverables.
• Maintain a work plan covering development, testing, and delivery milestones and provide monthly progress reports.
• Ensure technical and operational documentation is collected and delivered to clients by project closure.
• Identify and escalate any risks (including delays or technical issues) that could impact timely delivery.

This role supports the development of an open data infrastructure portal prepared for AI challenges, helping civil society groups access and use data to take action on social problems for a fair, sustainable, and open future.

• Excellent Spanish and English skills, both oral and written.
• Understanding and familiarity with the Central American Business environment.
• Familiarity and experience managing projects on GitHub and working across time zones and cultures.
• At least two years of experience as a project manager of technical projects (desired).

Part-time self-employed contract (8 hours per week, 1 day per week) for 6 months. Compensation: $280 per day (hourly rate $35). Remote work with minimal CET working hours overlap, requiring own equipment and good internet connectivity.
