Mission

What you will drive

  • Plan and develop all phases of AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP operations, including volunteer recruitment, placement, and retention
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with RSVP volunteer stations, including development and maintenance of volunteer assignment plans and memoranda of understanding
  • Work with the Executive Director and Board to develop an annual grants strategy aligned with ALMS program priorities
  • Lead the drafting, editing, and submission of high-quality grant proposals for federal, state, county, municipal, corporate, and foundation funding

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit program management, preferably with older adults and/or volunteers
  • Demonstrated experience managing government or federal grants (AmeriCorps, Senior Corps, HUD, AoA, state or county grants, etc.)
  • Proven track record of writing and securing grants, with at least several successful awards that can be described in detail

Benefits

What's in it for you

Salary range: $70,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience. This is a remote position with flexible scheduling, subject to program and funder deadlines.
