Project Development Intern

Core responsibilities for this internship include:

• Gaining long-term exposure to the multifaceted solar and energy storage development business
• Building skills and experience to launch a career in the renewable energy field
• Working on various aspects of project development including potential areas like HR, Development, Transmission, Mergers & Acquisitions, GIS, Strategic Planning, or Project Engineering
• Working remotely and independently while adapting to dynamic circumstances

This role contributes to the equitable distribution of renewable energy benefits and helps grow the industry from diverse perspectives while supporting the development of solar PV and battery storage projects that advance clean energy transition.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Enthusiastic and genuine passion for construction and operations of renewable power plants
• Focused technical passion with demonstrated knowledge of science & technology
• Strong analytical skills
• Written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work remotely and independently, adapt to unique circumstances
• Honest, reliable with strong work ethic
• Skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint), KMZ/Google Earth, and group presentations

This is an internship position for summer 2026 with possibility to extend part-time through the end of the school year. The program provides career-launching skills, exposure to the renewable energy business, and opportunity to build a professional network across finance, mergers and acquisitions, development, engineering, commercial strategy, and more.

Primergy Solar, LLC is a developer, owner and operator focused on both distributed and utility scale solar PV and battery storage projects in North America, representing Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners' principal solar and solar plus energy storage investment platform in the region.
