Programs & Events Associate

Core responsibilities:

• Support Coastal Roots Farm's Education and Events Departments with public-facing programs and events as well as private events
• Implement farm experiences by providing a safe, clean, fun, and educational experience to all Farm visitors
• Set up and breakdown of events, and guide all Farm visitors
• Support the Farm's signature events including Farm-To-Table dinners, Farm Film & Music Series, Cultivating Impact Mixers, and Nature Play

This role supports Coastal Roots Farm's mission to cultivate healthy, connected communities by integrating sustainable agriculture, food justice, and ancient Jewish wisdom, helping to share organic produce with those who need it most and connect people to Jewish traditions through farming and food.

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Excellent communication, computer, sales, cash handling, and time management skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Experience working in customer service and ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Compensation: $18 per hour depending on experience. This is a part-time position with variable hours, year-round with more available hours during peak season (May through September). Coastal Roots Farm values diversity and an inclusive culture and welcomes candidates of any faith or background.
