Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Oversee disaster response programs through the full grant cycle: proposal development, implementation, evaluation, and reporting
- Deliver technical support across all disaster cycle phases, assessing risks, assets, and capacity of partners and offering recommendations accordingly
- Facilitate clear and timely communication on response activities, priorities, trends, and outcomes
- Develop and implement training, tools, and resources for UMC stakeholders and community connections

Profile
What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required or combination of equivalent education and experience
- At least five (5) years' experience in disaster readiness/response programming with humanitarian or governmental organizations
- Experienced in disaster management and humanitarian programming, skilled in grant management and capacity building
- Strong communicator and relationship builder, comfortable working within faith-based organizational structures

- Salary: $81,016 - $129,626.00 USD annually
- Full-time exempt position with 37.5 weekly hours between 7:00am - 7:00pm ET (Monday - Friday; flexible start and stop time)
- U.S. Remote position (United States residents only)
- Travel as required to attend meetings, training, or other events; outside the US may be necessary on occasion
