Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive accounting and financial management services including monthly bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, accounts payable/receivable management, and payroll processing
  • Handle grant accounting and tracking by funder/program, budget preparation and monitoring support, and financial reporting compliance
  • Offer strategic financial planning and analysis, internal controls review, policy development, and staff training on financial systems
  • Support annual independent audit and 990 filings, ensure compliance with tax requirements, and assist with grant reporting

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Experience serving nonprofit organizations of similar size and funding structure (approximately $3.5-4 million annual budget)
  • Expertise in foundation grant compliance and reporting, with experience managing approximately 20 active grants
  • Relevant certifications (CPA preferred) and expertise in nonprofit accounting
  • Experience with current systems including Xero, ADP, Bill.com, Divvy, and Give Lively
