Principal, Head of Sustainability Engineering and Data Strategy

• Lead the design and implementation of technology solutions that integrate sustainability considerations into the investment process, product development, and reporting.
• Oversee the development and continuous improvement of enterprise applications that support sustainability data management and analytics for the firm.
• Analyze internal and external sustainability data and frameworks to provide detailed views, investment insights, and propose differentiated approaches.
• Direct the architecture and buildout of platform features to streamline sustainability data aggregation, analysis, and reporting, leveraging existing tools and frameworks.

This role enhances sustainability data integration into investment processes and generates proprietary sustainability investment insights, particularly regarding climate and scenario analysis, to drive positive environmental impact through informed financial decisions.

• Bachelors or master’s in computer science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
• 12+ years overall technical and/or analytical experience, including 6+ years in sustainability technology roles.
• Experience in the development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-scale data applications and services.
• Proven experience managing a team of engineers across global locations.
• Extremely proficient in Python and an object-oriented language such as Java or C/C++.
• Industry expertise in the application of sustainability frameworks, particularly related to climate and regulatory requirements.

The base salary range is $225,000 – $300,000, with eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Compensation ranges are based on job function, level, and geographic location.
