Policy Director

• Lead PauseAI Global's regulatory and policy analysis across the global AI governance landscape
• Develop comprehensive policy positions and build relationships with key government and regulatory stakeholders
• Monitor AI policy developments, create detailed proposals, and provide briefings to parliamentarians and regulators
• Coordinate international policy alignment across PauseAI national chapters toward achieving a Pause treaty
• Train and mentor volunteers to effectively present PauseAI's campaign and policy goals to decision-makers

This role creates positive change by advancing global AI governance through policy development and stakeholder engagement, working toward achieving a Pause treaty to ensure responsible AI development.

• Experience in policy analysis and regulatory affairs, particularly in AI governance
• Strong relationship-building skills with government and regulatory stakeholders
• Ability to monitor policy developments and create detailed proposals
• Experience in training and mentoring volunteers or team members
• International coordination experience preferred
