Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance the quality, consistency, and accessibility of WA's photos and video content
  • Make selects and edit visuals to align with WA's aesthetic and ethical standards
  • Prepare assets and metadata for the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system
  • Support Animal Photojournalist (APJ) development through thoughtful feedback

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Excited about WA's mission and belief in documenting animal stories for positive impact
  • Strong visual storyteller in both photo and video who understands how stills and motion work together
  • Detail-obsessed with meticulous work approach including precise edits, consistent color, clean audio, and accurate metadata
  • Technically solid with proficiency in Lightroom and Bridge for stills, and Premiere Pro for video
  • Compassionate communicator skilled at giving and receiving feedback
  • Adaptable and proactive with interest in improving workflows and proposing new ideas
