Operations Director

• Lead Spark's organizational infrastructure to strengthen and scale core operational functions
• Oversee Operational Strategy, Finance, People and Culture, and day-to-day Operational systems
• Set vision and strategic direction for operations while ensuring smooth and efficient delivery
• Serve as key thought partner to leadership team, advising on strategy and execution

This role enables Spark Climate Solutions to accelerate progress on unsolved climate challenges by building fit-for-purpose systems that allow teams to maximize their focus on delivering climate impact, helping shift the trajectory of global climate mitigation.

• 8+ years of experience in nonprofit operations or administration, including at least 3 years in leadership or people management
• Proven ability to lead multi-functional operations teams and scale systems in early-stage or fast-growing organizations
• Demonstrated experience building financial and grants management systems
• Strong understanding of nonprofit financial management, including outgoing grant management and funder reporting
