Core responsibilities for engineers at Oklo:

• Work on developing advanced fission power plants to deliver clean, reliable, and affordable energy at scale
• Contribute to establishing a domestic supply chain for critical radioisotopes
• Advance nuclear fuel recycling technologies to convert nuclear waste into clean energy
• Collaborate on a dynamic team to solve complex technical problems with novel solutions

This role creates positive change by developing clean, reliable, and affordable nuclear energy technology that can help address climate change and energy security challenges while converting nuclear waste into usable energy.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Passionate about making advanced fission a reality and willing to think differently
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly iterative startup environment
• Excellent communicator who can write compelling content and communicate technical results verbally
• Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in an engineering field (or equivalent experience)

Compensation and benefits include:

• Salary range: $60,000-$180,000 (dependent on experience)
