MEAL Consultant

Core responsibilities:

• Support MEAL system design across three projects in East Africa and Southeast Asia
• Develop MEAL frameworks, revise indicator matrices, and create MEAL plans for partner-led work
• Support MEAL-related donor reporting
• Set up and improve MEAL systems for human rights projects

This role helps expose human rights abuses and hold perpetrators accountable by strengthening monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning systems that ensure affected communities' concerns drive advocacy, policy, and legal action.

Required qualifications:

• Experience working on MEAL for human rights, development or humanitarian projects
• Experience with donor MEAL and reporting requirements, including indicators and results frameworks
• Experience supporting or contributing to donor reports
• Fluent English required; French language skills are an advantage

Compensation and work arrangement:

• Maximum day rate of 500 USD
• Remote consultancy with no travel required
• Work expected to take approximately 18 days spread over 6 months
• Possibility of additional days as projects progress
