Define and strengthen 4WARD's voice across core marketing channels:

  • Bring our story to life on LinkedIn and beyond
  • Create and guide short-form storytelling, founder spotlights, and thought-leadership content
  • Position 4WARD as a global hub for climate and sustainability innovation
  • Bring clarity and consistency to our messaging and brand narrative

Help convert visibility into measurable community growth:

  • Support growth in newsletter sign-ups, event participation, and community membership
  • Experiment with formats, messaging, and campaigns to understand what resonates
  • Identify what's working, what's not, and where to double down
  • Align marketing efforts with community, events, and partnerships

Ensure the ecosystem's best work gets the spotlight it deserves:

  • Amplify founder wins, partnerships, and local chapter activities
  • Coordinate content across social, email, and partner channels
  • Collaborate with city leads and partners to surface compelling stories
  • Help scale visibility without losing authenticity or mission alignment

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Background & Experience:

  • 4–8 years of experience in marketing, communications, or content
  • Experience in startups, agencies, communities, or mission-driven organizations (ideal)
  • Strong writing instincts and an eye for narrative and positioning
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn, newsletters, and community platforms (or eagerness to learn fast)

Key Skills & Qualities:

  • Strategic: Able to think big-picture while executing tactically
  • Story-driven: Knows how to turn ideas into compelling narratives
  • Proactive: Comfortable taking ownership and moving ideas forward
