Mission

What you will drive

  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing and communications plans to reach students, families, volunteers, donors, and the general public
  • Create and schedule content across digital channels, including email, website, and social media
  • Design marketing collateral such as flyers, graphics, one-pagers, and slide decks using brand templates
  • Support storytelling efforts by interviewing students, volunteers, and staff and writing short profiles or blurbs for various platforms

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience in marketing, digital communications, or nonprofit outreach
  • Experience working with first-generation, low-income college students or in the education sector
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an eye for detail

Starting salary is commensurate with experience, regional location, and is based on a competitive public interest salary scale. The salary range for this position is: San Francisco Bay Area: $72,300 - $88,063; Greater Los Angeles Area: $65,000 - $75,706.
