Manager, State Government Outreach

• Constructively develop and communicate key company positions across government agencies, industry organizations, and related stakeholders
• Engage in strategies supporting the company's global business interests
• Support the company's government relations communication strategy for coherent messaging across platforms
• Build relationships with governors' and mayors' offices while working with regional representatives

This role promotes sound public policies and addresses emerging regulatory, policy and legislative issues, contributing to the development of energy and transportation systems and society at large through constructive dialogue with government authorities.

• Minimum 5-7 years of public policy and/or government affairs experience
• Experience maintaining relations with state legislature, authorities, county and city governments about business development
• Ability to communicate with managers of Hitachi group companies in prioritized states
• Experience hosting events like Hitachi Day in Tier 1 states
