Lighting Designer

Core responsibilities:

• Assisting with lighting design, including calculations and energy analysis
• Preparing project lighting drawings and specifications, and creating renderings and presentation materials
• Coordinating work within the Mazzetti team and with other disciplines, and supporting sustainability and LEED efforts across projects
• Contributing to a diverse range of projects, including healthcare, hospitality, civic, commercial, and residential designs, while implementing sustainable lighting design

This role creates positive change by implementing sustainable lighting design in all projects, supporting Mazzetti's mission of bending the climate curve™, and contributing to creating healthier, enduring environments through energy-efficient solutions.

Required skills and qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Lighting Design, or related field
• 2-8 years of experience in the lighting design industry with 2+ years of experience with Revit, CAD, and/or other BIM programs
• 2+ years of experience in photometric modeling using AGI32, LightStanza, and Dialux (or similar)
• Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, organized, self-starter, and interest in sustainable and energy-efficient design

Compensation: $55,000-$85,000 annual salary range.
