Learning and Development Program Design Consultant

Core responsibilities:

• Design and create staff Development Plans using skills assessment data and existing frameworks
• Develop a framework for learning effectiveness monitoring and tracking with KPIs and metrics
• Incorporate adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design into programs
• Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve learning programs

This role creates positive change by developing learning programs that build staff and volunteer capacity to advance human rights work, ensuring a culture of continuous learning and growth within the organization.

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of seven years of experience in program design in a Learning and Development context
• Expert-level knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and evaluation methodologies
• Expert-level knowledge of current trends and best practices in Learning and Development
• Oral and written fluency in English
