Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruiting process including conducting second round interviews, making offers, and managing referral policy
  • Coordinate new hire orientation and oversee the onboarding process with new employees to process HR-related paperwork
  • Handle administrative activities related to employee benefits, including health/dental/vision insurance, open enrollment, 401K, and life insurance
  • Assist employees with Leave policies (Medical, FMLA, Disability, Workers Comp, etc.) and maintain accurate employee timecards for payroll processing
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations and handle escalated personnel matters including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or any other related field
  • Exceptional organizational skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines
  • 1-3 years of previous experience working in an HR setting (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of federal, state, and local labor laws (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion (preferred)
  • Proficiency with various HR systems and tools, and MS Office/Google Workspace (preferred)
  • HR Certification such as SHRM, PHR, HRCI (preferred)
