Community Engagement Manager, Reddit

Core responsibilities:

• Lead Mozilla's efforts across Reddit as the organization's voice in influential subreddits
• Develop and own an organic Reddit strategy to drive engagement through thoughtful participation
• Spot trends early and make engagement recommendations while navigating moderation ecosystems with care
• Track and report performance, build relationships with key Redditors and moderators, and create content that resonates with communities

This role helps shape the next 25 years of technology by building stronger connections with users and sparking meaningful conversations about privacy and the open web, contributing to Mozilla's mission to reclaim an internet built for people, not companies.

Required skills and experience:

• Minimum 5+ years in product communications, developer relations, community strategy, or tech influencer marketing
• Proven ability to participate authentically on Reddit and other tech-native platforms (Hacker News, Discord, X)
• Deep understanding of tech community influence dynamics and ability to meet communities with appropriate tone and timing
• Strong writing skills to craft engaging Reddit posts and comments in Mozilla's voice while adapting to subreddit norms
• Proficiency with Reddit analytics, UTM tagging, and performance-tracking tools
• Experience engaging with developers, open-source contributors, or privacy-minded user communities
