Technical Product Manager (OTE $70,000/year USD), @Sparkrock Finance

Core responsibilities:

• Own product and technical design for core Sparkrock Finance capabilities such as General Ledger, AP, AR, budgeting, fund accounting, reporting, and integrations
• Partner with customers, implementation teams, and internal stakeholders to translate finance business needs into clear technical and functional requirements
• Design scalable, secure, and compliant financial solutions, including workflows, integrations, data models, and APIs
• Work closely with engineering, QA, implementation, and customer success to ensure solutions are feasible, maintainable, and aligned with product vision

This role modernizes and scales financial systems through cloud technologies, automation, and analytics, directly improving transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency for mission-driven organizations, allowing them to focus more resources on their social impact work.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years in software industry (technical consultant, architect, developer, or solution designer)
• 2+ years as Technical Product Manager or similar role
• Proven experience working on ERP Finance products or large-scale financial systems
• Strong understanding of ERP Finance concepts: general ledger, accounts payable & accounts receivable, budgeting & forecasting, fund/grant accounting, financial reporting & audits
• Experience designing scalable, secure backend systems and API/integration design
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable)
