Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Oversee all social enterprise acceleration support programs in Africa, including piloting new program structures and making data-informed iterations
  • Directly run annual investment readiness programs in East and West Africa from pipeline development through supporting ventures through investment due diligence
  • Build strong networks of partner investors and manage technical assistance to enhance enterprise investment readiness
  • Implement impact measurement frameworks and systematically capture data to track program effectiveness

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years professional experience with at least 5 years facilitating investments in African social entrepreneurs
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Entrepreneurship, International Development or related field
  • Proven expertise in supporting early-stage entrepreneurs through various growth phases
  • Strong network of Angel and impact investors across Africa with track record of supporting ventures to close first fundraising rounds
  • Experience with lean startup methods, business modeling, deal structuring, and financial modeling
  • Deep knowledge of social impact sector and building profitable business models in East and West Africa
