Intern, Ithaka S+R (Rural Student Success Network)

Core responsibilities:

• Contribute to project activities including conducting case studies of student success programs
• Develop institution-specific tools for technical assistance support
• Plan and facilitate virtual network convenings
• Collaborate with researchers and analysts to produce specific deliverables

This role supports rural-serving institutions in improving student success and economic mobility through research and technical assistance, ultimately helping rural learners overcome educational barriers and achieve better outcomes.

Required qualifications:

• Pursuing a master's degree or Ph.D. in a field requiring superior writing, communication, research, and critical thinking skills
• Strong interest in solving challenges facing higher education
• Comfort working in a fluid, highly collaborative, remote team environment
• Ability to translate complex concepts and research data into compelling, accessible work products

Compensation: $25.00/hourly. The internship provides a unique learning experience with exposure to Ithaka S+R's broader work, collaboration with researchers and institutional partners, and opportunities to develop new skills in a supportive, remote team environment.
