Industry Account Executive

• Develop the sales pipeline needed to achieve or exceed sales targets and goals for Government Intelligence, Defense and National Security institutions in Australia and New Zealand
• Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close large and medium-size deals while driving sales revenue targets
• Manage the contracting and Government procurement process, working through agreement/contract/procurement obstacles
• Collaborate with Government Sales team, marketing, business development, pre-sales/solution architects, and post-sales/customer success teams

This role helps provide Earth observation data to government and defense institutions, enabling them to develop new technologies, drive revenue, power research, and solve the world's toughest obstacles through empirical information from space.

• Bachelor's Degree
• 6+ years of related experience in geospatial software, imagery or technical sales, with 4+ years selling to government customers
• Experience successfully finding and winning business with Government customers, understanding Government sales cycles and procurement processes
• Deep understanding of the value of commercial Earth Observation imagery in supporting D&I users
• Excellent relationships across ANZ Government and partner ecosystem
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM system
• Ability to travel up to 40% of the year
