Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Manage sales and use tax and property tax compliance processes, including preparation, review, and timely filing of indirect tax returns
  • Advise project, procurement, and commercial teams on indirect tax implications of construction contracts and subcontracting arrangements
  • Perform tax technical research related to sales and use tax matters and effectively communicate tax positions to business teams
  • Manage indirect tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities while identifying and mitigating tax risks related to construction projects

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or Law (MS, JD, or CPA preferred)
  • 10+ years of indirect tax experience, ideally within construction, engineering, or renewables
  • Strong knowledge of construction-specific tax issues and experience handling indirect tax audits
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and ability to interpret complex construction contracts for correct tax treatment
