What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Serve as primary liaison with external accounting firm, manage accounts payable/receivable, and review/reconcile credit card transactions and staff reimbursements
  • Prepare and present regular spending, budget-to-actual, and trend analyses for budget owners and leadership
  • Support recruitment processes including maintaining applicant tracking records, posting jobs, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
  • Coordinate onboarding of new staff and contractors, handle I-9 verifications, and maintain organizational infrastructure

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • 2-4+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or human resources with demonstrated budgeting and financial reporting experience
  • Demonstrated familiarity with GAAP and nonprofit accounting principles, including grants management
  • Proficiency in data entry (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., Justworks, Bill.com, and Sage Intacct)
