HR Operations Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Responsible for the handling of staff contracts
• Managing our payroll, in coordination with our external country-based payroll accountants
• Maintaining and further developing our HR portal for staff (Personio)
• Handling HR requests coming from our team
• In charge of putting in place and monitoring our HR and team policies
• Keeping the oversight of our recruitment and on/offboarding processes
• Providing HR analysis and recommendations to our senior leadership team

This role supports staff across 9 countries and 7 languages, enabling WeMove Europe to build people power to transform Europe in the name of community, future generations and the planet by ensuring effective HR operations that support campaign work on critical social justice issues.

Required skills and experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with HR and payroll management
• Proven excellent communication and organizational skills with ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
• Discretion and sound judgment: trusted to handle sensitive information responsibly
• Tech-savvy: comfortable in a digital environment and quick to adopt new systems (experience with Personio HR system is a plus)
• Experience in remote multilingual and multicultural organizations and comfortable with processing documents in a variety of European languages
• Fully comfortable operating and communicating in English at a professional level
