HR Operations Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Responsible for the handling of staff contracts
• Managing our payroll, in coordination with our external country-based payroll accountants
• Maintaining and further developing our HR portal for staff (Personio)
• Handling HR requests coming from our team
• In charge of putting in place and monitoring our HR and team policies
• Keeping the oversight of our recruitment and on/offboarding processes
• Providing HR analysis and recommendations to our senior leadership team

This role supports staff across 9 countries and 7 languages, enabling WeMove Europe to build people power to transform Europe on critical issues including the climate emergency, migrant rights, workers rights, and better governance.

Required skills and experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with HR and payroll management
• Proven excellent communication and organisational skills, with ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
• Discretion & sound judgment: Trusted to handle sensitive information responsibly
• Tech-savvy: comfortable in a digital environment and quick to adopt new systems (experience with Personio is a plus)
• Experience in remote multilingual and multicultural organisations and comfortable with processing documents in a variety of European languages
• Fully comfortable operating and communicating in English at a professional level
