Mission

What you will drive

Partnering with the CEO, engineering and strategy teams, you will lead commercial partnership development efforts with consumer-facing ('downstream') partners. In this capacity, your responsibilities will center around:

  • Go-to-market and value proposition: Conduct customer discovery to best understand customer needs and priorities. Contribute to refining of go-to-market strategy based on internal business intelligence and external customer engagement.
  • Commercial partnerships: Spearhead the development of new commercial partnerships and negotiate agreements with key consumer brands, positioning Dioxycle as a trusted provider of sustainable materials and an industry-defining brand. Work hand-in-hand with legal counsel and the finance team to build creative commercial agreements. Participate in trade shows and events to develop key relationships with targeted customers and relevant industry organizations.
  • Effective Communication and Reporting: Deliver clear, concise and timely updates to all stakeholders, emphasizing project milestones, sustainability achievements, and strategic insights for ongoing improvement.

Impact

The difference you'll make

By developing commercial partnerships for Dioxycle's carbon utilization technologies, this role helps convert industrial emissions into sustainable chemicals, ultimately reducing over 800 million tons of CO2 per year and displacing fossil fuels in chemical production.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Proven ability to build and deliver engaging pitches that build coherent and compelling narratives for consumer-facing brands/customers.
  • Native-level English (French is not needed for the role).
  • Exceptional charisma and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience in building commercial traction for a novel technology or product in consumer-facing market is a big plus (but not a requirement).
  • An engineering background is not required for this role (although it would be a plus), however strong curiosity and drive to self-teach and learn technical ins-and-outs will be very necessary.
  • Deep understanding and interest for decarbonization and the materials space in general.
  • Exemplary work ethic and self-driven attitude: you get things done fast and to a high standard and you don't drop the ball.
  • "Street-smart": you don't take no for an answer and will figure out a way to solve anything with the means available.
  • Commitment to the mission and ambition and to creating a kind, high-performance and fun atmosphere at work (100% on-site role).
  • Passion for innovation and problem-solving attitude.
  • Dedication to investing time and effort for the betterment of the team.
  • Going the extra 20% that makes a good deliverable into an outstanding deliverable.
  • Humble, low-ego and curious.
