GRAPHIC DESIGNERS – HUMANITARIAN

Core responsibilities:

• Design engaging, on-brand social media content using Canva and InDesign
• Layout reports, factsheets, briefs, and other print/digital materials
• Create infographics and data visualizations
• Produce editable templates for use by the humanitarian team and partners
• Prepare campaign visuals and event materials
• Develop illustrations for storytelling

This role creates positive change by producing high-quality visual materials that support IPPF's delivery of life-saving sexual and reproductive healthcare services to women, girls and marginalized communities in humanitarian crises, helping communicate critical information and advocate for sexual and reproductive health rights.

Required skills and experience:

• Proven experience designing content for international development, humanitarian, news or advocacy organizations
• Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Canva
• Excellent attention to detail and strong layout and typography skills
• Ability to deliver clean, brand-aligned visuals quickly and independently
• Proven ability in creating striking content for social media platforms (Instagram and LinkedIn)
• Understanding of ethical visual storytelling in humanitarian or SRHR contexts
• Ability to interpret content into clean, accessible visuals
• Commitment to inclusive and ethical communications

Compensation and contract details:

• Contract on per-project basis
• Professional fees indicated as daily rate in USD excluding VAT
• Remote, flexible working possible
• No salary range specified - daily rate basis only
