German Translator (Volunteer)

• Help translate the Earth Hero app from English to German, including reviewing existing translations and translating new content
• Advise on how to better customize the Earth Hero app for German-speaking users
• Perform various translation and interpretation tasks including responding to messages, translating for social media, website content, news articles, and reports

This role helps make climate action accessible to German-speaking users by translating content for the Earth Hero app, contributing to the organization's mission of addressing the climate crisis through personalized, positive steps.

• 3+ years fluency in German (native speakers preferred)
• Familiarity with translation platform software is useful but not required
• Current with the latest German-language idioms and cultural references
• Excellent attention to detail
