General Secretary for Operations & Compliance (f/d)

Core responsibilities:

• Oversee HR and Legal & Compliance functions, linking Tech team work to the broader organization
• Lead organizational development projects, prepare board decisions, and manage day-to-day operations with national chapters
• Manage legal and compliance matters including GDPR, internal governance, and regulatory aspects of Europarty establishment
• Supervise HR aspects across the European organization including recruitment, contracts, performance reviews, and payroll coordination

This role contributes to shaping Volt's success in Europe and having a positive impact on European society by ensuring smooth organizational operations and compliance across a pan-European political movement.

Required qualifications:

• Structured, detail-oriented operational improver with ability to manage multi-country processes and drive efficiency
• Cross-functional leadership experience coordinating diverse teams across HR, Legal, Tech and governance functions
• Trusted stakeholder advisor with high integrity, sound judgement, and ability to manage confidential matters
• Adaptive problem-solver comfortable in fast-changing contexts with strong prioritization skills

Compensation and perks:
