Full Stack Software Engineer

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable microservices architecture using Python and FastAPI for cloud-based energy management platform
• Build robust REST APIs for real-time data collection, system monitoring, battery control, and performance optimization
• Implement event-driven architectures using AWS Lambda, SQS, and API Gateway to handle battery command distribution and telemetry streams
• Develop data pipelines to ingest, process, and store telemetry data from battery energy storage systems
• Build analytics systems for battery performance monitoring, degradation analysis, and predictive maintenance
• Implement data models and algorithms for energy price forecasting, battery scheduling optimization, and revenue maximization
• Develop software interfaces for battery management systems and power electronics using industrial communication protocols
• Build customer-facing dashboards and monitoring interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks

This role directly contributes to the clean energy transition by developing software that optimizes battery energy storage systems, maximizing their performance and financial returns while supporting renewable energy integration.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong backend development experience with Python and FastAPI
• Experience with AWS cloud services (Lambda, SQS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, CloudWatch)
• Database expertise with PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, DynamoDB, and InfluxDB
• Knowledge of data engineering, analytics, and algorithm development
• Experience with IoT/hardware integration and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, CAN bus, RS485, MQTT)
• Frontend development skills with JavaScript frameworks (React preferred)
• DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform
• Understanding of system reliability, security, and compliance requirements
