Finance Liaison & Reconciliation Officer

Core responsibilities:

• Monthly Bank reconciliations of all AUAF bank accounts
• Preparing Ministry of Economy reports (Semi-Annual Report) and tax documentation for government audits
• Preparing and replying to letters from Ministries (Maktoobs) and following up on issues with the Ministry of Economy
• Preparing tax RFP for contractors and National staff payment to the Government of Afghanistan

This role supports AUAF's mission to provide equal access to high-quality higher education across gender, ethnicity, and socio-economic background in Afghanistan by ensuring financial compliance and operational continuity.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 7 years of experience
• Experience with accounting applications/ERP systems, with Microsoft Business Central (BC) preferred
• Strong MS Excel skills
• Proficiency in Dari, Pashto, and English languages
