Field Project Manager

• Plan, execute, monitor, and control projects from initiation through to delivery and commissioning
• Support customers in solving complex problems, as well as provide customer training and technical on-site support
• Provide leadership to multiple stakeholders to define requirements, establish system design, coordinate deliveries and report to customers
• Oversee systems integration – specifically, work with customer utilities in integrating TRUConnect AMI to other utility vendor systems
• Negotiate, implement, and supervise subcontracts, when required
• Regularly review and report on project performance to management and other stakeholders

This role directly impacts the electrification of everything and the decarbonization of society by helping utilities modernize their distribution grids through smart grid solutions.

• A Bachelor's degree or advanced certification in Project Management, Operations Management, Engineering (Computer, Electrical or Systems), or other related field
• 6+ years of experience managing the operation, deployment and/or installation of large, multi-faceted projects in large IT, telemetry, control or communications systems/networks
• Customer/stakeholder management experience
• A PMP designation is preferred
• Experience in AMI/AMR, RF or Wireless communications is an asset
• Personal attributes: aptitude for complex technical systems, attention to detail, self-motivated, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple projects, stakeholder management skills, collaborative skills, proficiency in MS Office, excellent communication skills
