Mission
What you will drive
Core responsibilities:
- Provide targeted, on-demand technical advice on MEAL (Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning) questions requiring advanced methodological expertise
- Deliver MEAL training in accordance with DCAF MEAL architecture and the One-DCAF Results Framework
- Provide technical support to DCAF teams in gathering data on the One-DCAF Results Framework indicators and methodologies
- Offer technical quality assurance through desk-based review of selected MEAL documents, tools, or approaches

What makes you a great fit
Required qualifications and experience:
- Advanced university degree (Master's or PhD) in evaluation, social sciences, development studies, or related field
- At least 10 years of professional experience in MEAL, evaluation, or applied research in complex or fragile contexts
- Demonstrated expertise in results frameworks, outcome-level measurement, impact measurement, qualitative and mixed-methods evaluation, and sampling/data collection design
- Prior experience working with international organizations; experience in security sector governance, peace and security, peacebuilding or protection is an asset

Compensation and terms:
- Budget range of CHF 15,000 to CHF 20,000 for the 5-month contract
- Payment based on actual days worked, processed monthly in line with DCAF consultancy rates
- Travel costs covered by DCAF for required trips to Geneva and MENA region
- Up to 30 working days total over the contract period with flexible level of effort
