Events Director (Remote/Greater Raleigh, North Carolina region preferred)

Core responsibilities:

• Provide full-spectrum event-planning support for the annual YIMBYtown conference and other WNN events
• Manage logistics for national and regional gatherings, including venue, catering, registration, and day-of coordination
• Ensure cohesive branding and narrative around events, working with local hosts and stakeholders to craft and promote clear stories
• Develop standardized operations processes, document best practices, and ensure transferability of event materials and platforms

This role creates positive change by bringing together pro-housing advocates for relationship-building, shared learning, and collective strategizing, ultimately helping to legalize abundant housing options, lower housing costs, and reduce displacement of marginalized communities.

Required qualifications:

• Significant experience organizing midsized and large in-person events, including remote planning and cross-country gatherings
• Experience managing event budgets (preferably six-figure or higher) and leading logistics management
• Commitment to racial justice and equity work with a track record of making events welcoming and accessible
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and dynamic problem-solving abilities

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary range: $95,840.00 - $119,800.00
