Estimator

• Prepare and submit accurate and timely project estimates for wind, solar, and battery storage projects, ensuring all project costs are accounted for.
• Analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to identify potential issues or challenges impacting timeline or budget.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop cost-effective solutions that meet requirements while maximizing profitability.
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.

This role supports renewable generation projects such as battery storage, solar, wind, and hydrogen, contributing to the transition to clean energy and reducing environmental impact through electrical contracting services.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator, 2-year technical degree, or relevant field experience (applicable experience may substitute for degree).
• Construction knowledge with understanding of civil, structural, and electrical scopes and all electrical work/materials.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint) and familiarity with estimating software.
• Ability to recognize discrepancies in documents, develop estimates from various design stages, and perform accurate takeoffs.
