Entrepreneur in Residence (Food Science & AI)

• Lead structured opportunity validation and early-stage R&D efforts.
• Apply formulation science and AI/ML methods to build and improve performance, stability, and sensory outcomes.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and founders to refine hypotheses and shape the technical roadmap.
• Analyze experimental and computational data to guide iteration and decision-making.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations for technical and market validation.

This role focuses on transforming how food ingredients and products are formulated, optimized, and scaled, with a focus on sustainability and performance, creating impactful solutions in food innovation.

• Education: M.S. or Ph.D. in Food Science, Food Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related field.
• Experience: 3–8 years of hands-on experience in food formulation, ingredient R&D, or computational food science.
• Prior experience building or applying AI/ML tools in food, materials, or life sciences.
• Proven ability to connect technical insights with market context.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Salary commensurate with experience and to be discussed based on engagement level (part-time or full-time).
