Mission

What you will drive

  • Support generation, large load and merchant transmission developers navigate interconnection processes across the Western Interconnection System (WECC).
  • Advise internal/external stakeholders on complex interconnection related matters by leveraging critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Review ISO and/or Utility interconnection study results and work with your team to replicate findings and identify errors or alternative mitigations.
  • Work with senior leadership to develop new tools and services and drive expansion into new regions.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the electric energy industry with experience in IBR modelling, transmission planning and/or interconnection studies and processes.
  • Active participation and leadership in industry taskforces and/or working groups with strong understanding of FERC, NERC and ISO interconnection requirements.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one but preferably several of these software packages: PSLF, PowerWorld, PSSE, PSCAD, TARA and ASPEN.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to work collaboratively and independently, plus experience mentoring diverse teams.
