Editorial Associate

Core responsibilities:

• Support APVA's communications, editorial, and creative output across digital platforms and publications
• Source, shape, and produce engaging content that reflects APVA's mission
• Drive production of key editorial assets such as weekly bulletins, monthly magazines, and multimedia decks
• Manage social media presence and community interactions across multiple platforms

This role supports Africa's audio-creative industry and storytelling by producing engaging content that reflects APVA's mission and grows their digital footprint and audience engagement.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media, English, Creative Arts, or related field
• 0-2 years' experience in editorial, content, or communications roles
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Canva and familiarity with digital publishing tools
• Knowledge of social media management tools (Meta Business Suite, Buffer, or similar)
• Comfortable working with AI-driven tools for content, audio generation and design

Contract position for 12 months (renewable subject to performance and funding availability). No salary or additional benefits mentioned in the posting.
