Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Oversee NECHAMA's financial policies, procedures, and annual organizational budget, producing monthly financial statements and managing the annual audit process
  • Manage administration and internal operations including human resources, benefits programs, compliance with employment laws, and business insurance coverage
  • Serve as liaison with board committees, external vendors, legal counsel, and oversee operational systems including software, document management, and fleet maintenance
  • Develop strategies to operationalize NECHAMA's commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and combat climate change

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in nonprofit social impact or mission-driven sector in operations, finance, administration, and/or human roles
  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in accounting, finance or organizational management, with significant understanding of budgets and bookkeeping
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and problem-solve innovatively
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Quickbooks Online, and CRM systems; experience with remote work environments and commitment to racial equity
