Mission

What you will drive

  • Identify and prospect for financial industry clients, including lenders, private equity, venture capital, pensions, and other institutional investors transacting within the renewable energy space
  • Manage sales funnel through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning
  • Negotiate and successfully close contracts for Ascend's Market Intelligence subscription services, valuation support, and other additional services
  • Develop and maintain key customers through internal CRM platforms

This role drives sales and business development for Ascend's Market Intelligence services, which provide insights and guidance on transaction values and project economics in renewable energy markets, supporting the transformation of the electric grid to renewables.

Profile

What makes you a great fit

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Six to Eight years of business development and/or sales experience with a strong record of success, preferably in the financial or energy sectors
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to interpret complex analytic solutions into value propositions
  • Professional presentation; positive attitude; passion for clean energy market transformation

Benefits

Base Salary $130,000-$160,000, Total Expected Compensation (OTE) $200,000-$220,000 (base + commission).
