Mission

What you will drive

Core responsibilities:

  • Raise critical funds to sustain and grow NAF's work by managing a portfolio of corporate and foundation partners and new prospects
  • Serve as an external spokesperson cultivating one-to-one relationships with individual donors and prospects
  • Oversee team planning and execution of the Annual NAF Benefit involving staff, contractors, volunteers and donors
  • Assist the Chief Advancement Officer and Senior Director in outreach and coach team colleagues on their portfolios

Profile

What makes you a great fit

Required qualifications:

  • 4-7 years of development experience with demonstrated track record of personally soliciting and closing transformative gifts
  • 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience with proven ability to supervise and manage professional staff
  • In-depth knowledge of individual and institutional gift cultivation, stewardship, and grant proposal processes
  • Experience with corporate, private foundation, and major gift philanthropy, preferably in youth development and education
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications and experience with fundraising databases (Salesforce preferred)
