Development Specialist

Core responsibilities:

• Process and acknowledge all gifts and grant payments, ensuring data accuracy in Salesforce database
• Provide outstanding donor stewardship and customer service, including timely communications
• Oversee procurement process for the Development team and manage vendor contracts
• Maintain and improve donor data quality, create reports, and manage fundraising campaigns

This role supports RMI's fundraising efforts by ensuring accurate donor data and stewardship, which enables the organization to continue its work transforming global energy systems to create a clean, prosperous, and secure low-carbon future.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with 4+ years in a data support role
• Experience with customer service databases or donor databases (Salesforce preferred)
• Proven attention to detail in data management with efficiency and efficacy
• Excellent knowledge of Office 365, Excel (including pivot tables), and communication skills

• Hourly rate: $25/hour
