Development Manager

Core responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate activities to shepherd solar projects through regulatory, siting, and environmental permitting and approval processes
• Engage with landowners, community stakeholders, governmental/regulatory agencies, utilities, customers, and external consultants to advance projects
• Prepare milestone schedules, budgets, and staffing plans for permitting and compliance on assigned projects
• Represent OneEnergy Renewables as primary contact for projects and establish relationships with authorities and regulatory agencies

This role develops solar energy projects that make clean energy the #1 source of electricity, driving positive change in the renewable energy industry and contributing to an equitable energy transition.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years of project management experience in renewable energy, real estate, or land use related field
• Understanding of financial models and management of budgeting cash flow
• Experience with developing stakeholder relationships, permitting authorities, and knowledge of utility interconnection requirements
