Development Associate at Culinary Nonprofit

Core responsibilities:

• Cultivate relationships with corporate sponsors and donors through outreach, communication, and partnership development
• Support grant research, proposal preparation, and submission processes
• Plan and execute fundraising events including logistics, invitations, and sponsor recognition
• Maintain accurate donor and sponsor records in CRM systems and complete administrative tasks

Your behind-the-scenes work will directly support the funding of Sprouts' youth programming and mission, enabling Bay Area and NYC youth to rise from hardship through culinary training and job placement.

Required skills and experience:

• 2+ years of relevant experience in development, nonprofit administration, events, or customer service
• Strong written communication, detail orientation, and organizational skills
• Comfort with administrative tasks including CRM management and donor outreach
• Personable communicator able to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with Google Suite and commitment to youth development mission

Compensation and benefits:

• Salary: $65,000-$90,000 depending on experience and level
• 12 paid vacation days annually
