Deployment Specialist

• Troubleshoot and solve problems across the TUNet technology set, including embedded hardware and software, RF and IP communications networks, database, Linux back-end, web front-end, and service interfaces.
• Upgrade and patch TUNet software on customer systems, configure and maintain billing exports, and provide support for new product introductions.
• Review and prioritize open cases, escalating as required, and collaborate to develop and improve processes for technical knowledge base and documentation.
• Perform miscellaneous scripting tasks, travel to customer sites as needed, and participate in an after-hours support call program approximately 2 weeks/quarter.

This role directly contributes to the electrification of everything and the decarbonization of society by helping utilities modernize their distribution grids through innovative smart grid solutions.

• Diploma in information technology or higher with 4+ years of experience in a customer service or technical support role.
• Must understand Oracle database architecture, data modeling, and design principles, with familiarity in basic database administration tasks.
• Experience with Unix/Linux command line and shell scripting (primarily Bash), IP networking (TCP/IP, FTP, SSH, firewall), and virtual/cloud environments (VMWare ESXi, HyperV, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS).
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, ability to work independently, excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills, and desire to learn in a dynamic environment.
